The Sinister Diesel LMM EGR Delete Kit is a must have for Duramax-equipped 2007.5 to 2010 Chevrolet Silverado HD or GMC Sierra HD used for drag racing or sled pulling. Factory EGR valves can negatively affect the longevity and performance of diesel race engines by increasing the likelihood of soot building up in the intake manifold.
This LMM EGR Delete Kit completely replaces the entire EGR system, and it can be installed in six to eight hours without requiring the removal of the intake manifold. The LMM EGR Delete Kit also includes a new High-Flow Intake to further increase horsepower, and it's proven to increase power across the entire RPM range. With the Sinister Diesel Duramax LMM EGR Delete Kit, the intake air is cleaner and exhaust gas flow is improved, and when an engine breathes better, it performs better. Not only that, but removing the EGR also reduces the soot buildup in the air intake helping to reduce maintenance costs and extend the engine's life by improving coolant flow for lower engine operating temperatures.
The main components for this Sinister Diesel Duramax LMM EGR Delete kit are constructed from 304 stainless steel and machined billet aluminum, while the high-flow intake tube is made from 6061 aluminum; all components are fully TIG welded and pressure tested for optimal performance. The kit comes with all of the hardware required for the installation, and the intake tube is finished in the Sinister Diesel signature blue color for an added dash of color under the hood.
