Complete Duramax Head Stud and Gasket Kits
This kit is designed to fit the 2007.5-2010 Duramax LMM engine and includes the following:
- ARP Head Stud Kit (ARP2000)
- Grade C MLS Head Gaskets
- Cylinder Head Gasket Kit
For nearly fifty years, ARP has been the most trusted name in engine hardware by professionals in NHRA, NASCAR, and Formula 1. Each stud is cold-forged for molecular uniformity and then heat treated before machining for a clamp load rating of 220,000 psi. Stronger than factory head bolts, ARP studs ensure the seal integrity between your cylinder head and engine block to prevent leaks and catastrophic engine failure. Each ARP stud kit also includes matching nut hardware and hardened washers to ensure even spread of clamping force and accurate torque readings.
Grade C head gaskets are 1.05mm to compensate for the material removed when the cylinder head is resurfaced in the course of a thorough head gasket replacement or head stud installation. Each head gasket is manufactured to OEM standards from multi-layered spring steel. The gasket is stamped with a bead around each combustion chamber and oil/water passage to increase macro sealing pressure and affixed with a polymer surface coating that improves the micro seal integrity against small imperfections in the block deck or cylinder head surface.
Head stud kits for Duramax engines also come with comprehensive gasket sets to for every other component that seals against the cylinder head. It includes gaskets for the exhaust manifold, up pipe, upper and lower valve cover, along with valve cover grommets, valve seals, and turbo drain seals.
