Role Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing / Production Supervisor to lead daily operations on the production floor. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production moving, solving problems in real time, and improving workflow and efficiency. The right candidate is comfortable being on the floor, managing people, and taking ownership of output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production operations, including workflow, staffing, and scheduling
  • Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve throughput
  • Lead, train, and hold production team members accountable
  • Coordinate with purchasing and inventory to maintain material flow
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety across the shop
  • Assist in developing and improving standard operating procedures
  • Monitor production output and address issues as they arise

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (automotive, machining, fabrication preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a hands-on setting
  • Strong understanding of production flow and shop operations
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and keep production moving
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • Organized and detail-oriented

Preferred:

  • Experience with CNC machining, fabrication, or assembly operations
  • Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)

Our business is growing and we need you. We are an established manufacturing company in the automotive industry and an online parts retailer looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual to join our team as a CNC Machinist (Level 3).

Position Summary

Sinister Diesel is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist III to join our team. This role is for an experienced machinist who can independently set up, program, and run CNC equipment while maintaining tight tolerances and high production quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and/or lathes (3–5 axis preferred)
  • Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and CAD drawings
  • Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for optimal performance and efficiency
  • Perform first article inspections and in-process quality checks
  • Hold tight tolerances and ensure consistent part quality
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle times
  • Maintain organized work area and follow safety protocols
  • Collaborate to improve processes

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience (or equivalent skill level)
  • Strong knowledge of G-code and/or CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, or similar)
  • Experience with aluminum machining preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Solid understanding of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.)
  • Experience in a production environment with repeatable quality standards

We're looking for a detail-oriented and driven individual to join our team as a Purchasing Assistant to help support our procurement and inventory operations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organized Purchasing Assistant to support our purchasing department. In this role, you'll help ensure the accurate and timely ordering of parts and materials, maintain strong vendor relationships, and assist with inventory management. This is a key role that helps keep our production and fulfillment teams running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in issuing purchase orders and tracking order status
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
  • Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records
  • Coordinate with receiving and warehouse teams to resolve order issues
  • Help monitor stock levels and suggest reorders when needed
  • Support procurement team with data entry and administrative tasks
  • Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure purchasing needs are met
  • Receiving purchase orders and verifying quantities and quality check the items

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or business-related training is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
