Head studs made from ARP2000 material are cold-forged for molecular uniformity and heat treated for strength before final machining and thread cutting. ARP's exacting process produces a stud superior to any factory head bolt and rated to an incredible 220,000 psi of clamping force. This protects against any fretting between the cylinder head and engine block that could potential compromise the combustion chamber and lead to severe engine damage. ARP head stud sets also come with matched nuts and hardened washers for even distribution of clamping force and precise torque readings during assembly.
Heads Up kits for Cummins engines also include head gaskets from Mahle Motorsport. These head gaskets are manufactured to OEM specifications using multi-layered steel construction, beaded seals around the combustion chambers, and polymer seals round the oil and water passages to prevent leaks due to microscopic imperfections in the sealing surface of the cylinder head or engine block.
Each kit also includes a complete set of the required gaskets and seals for everything that component that attaches to the Cummins cylinder head including the exhaust manifold, up pipe, upper and lower valve cover, along with valve cover grommets, valve seals, and turbo drain seals.
Sinister Manufacturing and Sinister Diesel have created an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler that looks and fits exactly like your Powerstroke factory stock EGR, but we removed something important: the headaches! Our less-restrictive design reduces clogging by replacing the narrow internal cooling fins with high-flow stainless steel tubing for improved reliability and durability. Manufactured with high-quality TIG welds, each EGR cooler is pressure tested and is guaranteed to protect against leakage.
Because this EGR cooler has been designed to fit like your factory model, installation is easy. You don't even have to remove your intake manifold so installation is fast, too. This kit also contains detailed instructions for installation to ease the process.
