Sinister Diesels valve cover gaskets are constructed of premium synthetic rubber compounds such as high temperature silicone and hi-tech fluoroelastomer materials. Our gaskets are designed to withstand the high temperatures and pressures of the engine, providing a tight seal that prevents oil leaks and other issues.
Comparing our product with off-shore offerings, it becomes clear that their product is being made using inferior rubber compounds consisting of low-cost fillers which result in inconsistent sealing and poor high-temperature resistance. During injector replacement, the valve cover must be removed on most applications, this is a perfect time to replace the valve cover gasket to ensure a professional, leak-free repair.
