Shipping Policies


Shipping Protection Policy

•   Shipping Protection offers protection against loss, damaged, and theft. If your package isn't delivered safely, you are able to get a replacement.
•   Shipping Protection commences upon the package's shipment and concludes either upon its delivery into your possession or, in the event of a service request, upon the resolution of the issue.
Please note that if a shipping label has been generated but has not yet been scanned by the shipping carrier, the protection has not yet become active.
•   If you need to submit a request, please use our help center and submit a Shipping Protection request. Our hours of operation are 7am - 5pm PST, Monday - Friday.
•   Damage Product requests can be submitted as soon as it is delivered.
•   Lost or Stolen package requests can be submitted 5 days after your estimated delivery date. Example: "In Transit" status and the last update was 5 days ago.

What is not protected by Shipping Protection?
•   Items with no cash value such as a free hat.
•   Items for which shipping labels have been printed but never scanned by the carrier.
•   Items that are backordered or items sent in error by Sinister Diesel, such as wrong size, color, or item.
•   If the wrong shipping address is given or if the recipient refused to sign for the package or refused delivery.
•   Fraudulent orders, packages held, or packages redirected at the request of the recipient.
•   Shipping Protection is not transferable to other items or orders.

Flat Rate Shipping Policy

Flat Rate Shipping is only available for the lower 48 states.*

Free Shipping Policy

Free Shipping is only available on orders for Sinister Diesel products that are over $75. If your order has over $75 in Sinister Diesel products but also contains products from other manufacturers, your shipping will only be charged for products from other manufacturers. *Only valid for the lower 48 states.*

When will my order ship?

Orders received by 2PM Pacific time (business days M-F, holidays excluded) typically are processed the same day received; however, manufacturing times, back orders, and other factors may delay processing and shipping. Shipping times vary depending on your location and selected shipping options. Back ordered, build to order, specialty items, and other parts may require additional time for processing and fulfillment. Shipping delays can occur when the wrong address, zip code, or other errors are submitted for the shipping address. If the shipping company cannot deliver the package, we will contact you via phone or email. For UPS shipments, you can track the progress of your order by entering the tracking number on our website here: Sinister Diesel UPS Tracking.

What shipping options are available?

Sinister Diesel offers our customers the option of selecting Standard Ground, 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air through either the United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS) for shipments in the continental U.S. All shipment times are based upon business days (M-F, holidays excluded). Please call to verify any Expedited shipping.

How are returns handled?

If an item needs to be returned, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fees and should obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Please contact our Customer Service Department at 888-966-6543 to discuss the reason for the return and make the necessary arrangements. The amount of the refund will be based on the purchase price of your products and may include a restocking fee.

Do you ship outside the continental U.S.?

Yes, we ship internationally. Shipping times and charges may vary. Customers are responsible for compliance with relevant customs regulations and fees.

Do any restrictions apply?

Some shipments such as oversize packages and truck freight items may require other shipping methods and terms. Items that qualify for free ground shipping only apply to the lower 48 U.S. states.

What are your international shipping policies?

International orders must have matching billing and shipping addresses. All orders may be subject to additional Customs fees. Canadian orders shipped via UPS may also be subject to UPS brokerage fees. Please check with your country's Customs policies before placing an order. Also, please visit www.ups.com for more information on UPS brokerage fees (Orders to Canada only). USPS is typically a 7-15 day service to Canada. Customers are fully responsible for all additional fees their order may incur. With international shipping, the destination country will charge duties and import taxes on the shipment. These charges are the recipient's responsibility and can be paid with cash or check. The shipping carrier collects these fees on delivery. Sinister Diesel is not responsible for shipping delays beyond our control.

Weather & Act of God Shipping Delays Policy

At Sinister Diesel, we are committed to ensuring timely delivery of all orders. However, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather conditions or natural disasters, may impact shipping and delivery times. This policy outlines how such events are handled.

Weather-Related Delays

In the event of extreme weather conditions (e.g., hurricanes, snowstorms, wildfires, floods, or other severe weather events), shipments may be delayed due to transportation restrictions, road closures, or carrier suspensions. While we strive to keep our customers informed of any delays, please understand that these situations are unpredictable and may extend delivery times beyond our estimated shipping windows. Delays caused by such events do not qualify for shipping refunds or order cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control.

Act of God Events

An "Act of God" is defined as any natural disaster or unforeseen catastrophic event beyond human control, including but not limited to:

  • Earthquakes
  • Tornadoes
  • Hurricanes
  • Floods
  • Wildfires
  • Pandemics or widespread health emergencies

If an Act of God event disrupts our shipping operations, warehouse processing, or carrier services, we will make every reasonable effort to fulfill orders as soon as conditions allow. However, delays caused by such events do not qualify for shipping refunds or order cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control.
