Product Overview
The Sinister Diesel Coolant Filtration System for the 2020–2022 6.7L Powerstroke is designed to continuously remove harmful contaminants from your truck's cooling system before they can damage critical components.

Even from the factory, engine blocks often contain residual casting sand, metal particles, machining debris, sealant residue, and other contaminants left behind during the manufacturing process. As coolant circulates through the engine, these particles can wear on water pumps, restrict coolant passages, clog heat exchangers, and shorten the lifespan of expensive cooling system components.

Our coolant filtration system continuously bypasses and filters a small amount of coolant while the engine is running, gradually removing contaminants from circulation. Cleaner coolant helps support long-term reliability and provides added protection for critical components such as the water pump, EGR cooler, heater core, oil cooler, and cooling system seals.

At the heart of the system is a CNC-machined billet aluminum filter head finished in Sinister Blue anodizing and paired with a Genuine CAT coolant filter. The assembly mounts securely using factory mounting locations, eliminating the need for drilling or permanent modifications.

The included reinforced silicone hoses feature pre-assembled connections designed for straightforward installation and reliable operation. Every fitting, bracket, and mounting component required for installation is included in the kit.

Recommended Filter Service Schedule

The first few filters remove the majority of casting sand, manufacturing debris, and contaminants from the cooling system.

• Initial Filter: Replace after 500 miles
• Second Filter: Replace after 1,500 miles
• Third Filter: Replace after 3,000 miles
• Maintenance Interval: Replace at every oil change after that
