This kit permanently replaces the factory plastic fuel filter housing with a CNC-machined billet aluminum assembly. No cutting or fabrication is required — it is a direct bolt-on using the factory mounting points and fuel line connections.

Quick Prep

Let the engine cool completely before starting
Work on a flat, well-lit surface
Disconnect the negative battery terminal first

How to Install — Fuel Filter Conversion Kit Sinister Diesel

Step-By-Step Instructions

Relieve fuel system pressure and disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Remove the factory fuel filter housing per the video walkthrough above.
Transfer the filter element and fittings to the new billet housing.
Install the billet housing using the factory mounting points and supplied hardware, torqued per the printed instructions included with your kit.
Reconnect fuel lines, prime the system, and check for leaks before starting the engine.

Important Warnings

Relieve fuel pressure first.

Always relieve fuel system pressure and disconnect the battery before disconnecting any fuel line. Fuel system components stay pressurized after the engine is off.

Confirm fitment before ordering.

This kit is application-specific to 2011–2026 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L. Confirm your truck's exact fitment on the product page before beginning removal of factory parts.

Troubleshooting

The new housing doesn't seat flush.

Confirm the factory mounting studs are clean and undamaged, and that no old gasket material remains on the mating surface.

I have a fuel leak after install.

Stop the engine immediately, relieve pressure, and re-check every fitting for correct torque and seating before running the truck again.

My truck has previous modifications.
