The Sinister Diesel Coolant Filtration System for the 2019–2024 6.7L Cummins adds something the factory cooling system doesn't have: dedicated filtration for contaminants circulating through your coolant.
Casting sand, machining debris, metal particles, rust, scale, and other contaminants can remain or accumulate inside the cooling system. As coolant circulates, that debris can collect in small passages and contribute to premature wear or restriction in components such as the heater core, water pump, EGR cooler, oil cooler, and cooling system seals.
Our system addresses the problem with a bypass filtration design that continuously routes a small amount of coolant through a dedicated WIX filter while the engine is running. Contaminants are gradually captured and removed from circulation without placing the filter directly in the engine's primary coolant flow.
Because the filter operates on a bypass circuit, normal factory coolant circulation is maintained even as the filter collects debris.
The system uses a CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum filter block finished in Sinister Blue and a vehicle-specific mounting bracket that installs using existing factory mounting locations—no drilling required.
Reinforced silicone hoses and pre-assembled connections make installation straightforward while providing the durability needed for the demanding temperatures and conditions found under the hood of a Cummins-powered Ram.
