The Sinister Diesel Coolant Filtration System for the 2003–2007 5.9L Cummins is designed to continuously remove harmful contaminants from your truck's cooling system before they can damage critical components.
Even new or freshly rebuilt engines can contain residual casting sand, machining debris, metal particles, rust, and mineral deposits left behind during the manufacturing process. As coolant circulates through the engine, these contaminants can wear on water pumps, restrict coolant passages, clog heat exchangers, and shorten the lifespan of expensive cooling system components.
Our coolant filtration system continuously bypasses and filters a small amount of coolant while the engine is running, gradually removing contaminants from circulation. At the heart of the system is a CNC-machined billet aluminum filter head paired with a premium WIX coolant filter. The assembly mounts securely using factory mounting locations, eliminating the need for drilling or permanent modifications.

Recommended Filter Service Schedule
The first few filters remove the majority of casting sand, manufacturing debris, and contaminants from the cooling system.
