Fitment

Fits 2023 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty equipped with the 6.7L HO Power Stroke Turbo Diesel engine.
Notes: This kit is not compatible with the 2024 Cab & Chassis model equipped with the additional sensor on the Cold Side Charge Pipe. It fits perfectly on 2024–2026 F450 Pickup models. An updated part for the Cab & Chassis is in development.

Key Features

  • High-strength aluminum charge pipe improves durability over factory plastic piping
  • Mandrel-bent tubing for smooth airflow and consistent boost pressure delivery
  • Direct bolt-on design with no cutting or permanent modifications required
  • Upgraded silicone boots and heavy-duty clamps reduce boost leaks under load
  • Backed by the Sinister Diesel Warranty for long-term reliability

Product Overview

The factory charge pipe on the 23-26 6.7L Power Stroke is constructed from molded plastic designed to meet cost and weight targets. Under higher boost pressure, towing loads, and elevated underhood temperatures, the OEM pipe can flex, crack, or separate at connection points. Over time, heat cycling and vibration increase the risk of boost leaks, reduced throttle response, and loss of performance.

The Sinister Diesel Charge Pipe Kit replaces the factory plastic tubing with precision-formed aluminum piping engineered for strength and thermal stability. Unlike the OEM unit, aluminum construction resists expansion under boost pressure and holds its shape under heat. This results in improved sealing, consistent boost delivery, and greater long-term reliability without altering factory tuning or drivability.

This kit is designed as a true bolt-on upgrade for 23-26 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7L HO Power Stroke. Installation utilizes factory mounting locations and requires no cutting or tuning. The system maintains OEM performance characteristics while strengthening a known weak point in the charge air system.

Common Problems This Solves

  • Boost leaks under acceleration or heavy towing
  • Cracked or separated factory plastic charge pipes
  • Hissing sounds from the engine bay under load
  • Reduced throttle response or inconsistent boost pressure
  • Repeat failures caused by heat, vibration, and plastic fatigue

Service Interval

Follow OEM inspection guidelines for the charge air system. Typical inspection interval is every 15,000–30,000 miles or during routine service, depending on driving conditions and towing frequency. Inspect boots and clamps periodically to ensure proper sealing.

FAQ

Why should I upgrade to this product?
A: The factory plastic charge pipe is prone to cracking and boost leaks over time. Upgrading to an aluminum charge pipe provides increased strength, improved heat resistance, and more consistent boost pressure delivery—reducing the risk of unexpected failures.
Will this fit my truck?
A: This kit fits 2023-2026 Ford Super Duty trucks (F-250 through F-550) equipped with the 6.7L HO Power Stroke diesel engine and factory turbo configuration. Verify model year and engine before ordering.
Is installation difficult?
A: Installation is straightforward for most DIY mechanics and typically takes 1–2 hours using basic hand tools. No cutting, tuning, or permanent modifications are required.
Will this affect performance or reliability?
A: This charge pipe maintains OEM performance characteristics while improving durability and sealing reliability. It does not alter factory tuning but helps ensure consistent boost pressure under load.
How often should it be serviced?
A: Inspect the charge air system during routine service intervals (15,000–30,000 miles). Trucks used for heavy towing or severe duty should be inspected more frequently.
What’s included in the kit?
A: The kit includes the aluminum hot and cold side charge pipe assembly, reinforced silicone boots, heavy-duty clamps, mounting hardware, and installation instructions.
